At the top of this individual goat record sheet, add the goat’s name, ID or tattoo number, their birthdate, litter size and the goat’s color(example: JANE-3/25/24-triplet does-buckskin with white)It’s easy to forget when you did something, so jotting it down right away using this form, you’ll be sure to know when last you cleaned pens, sanitized buckets, changed feed brands, added fresh minerals, or noticed a goat acting a little off, etc.Tracking expenses is an essential part of stewarding your resources well. It can be surprising to realize just how much money your goat’s can cost you! Include everything from new gate latches, collars & buckets to your fancy milking machine and annual hay bill.Milk, soap, compost, goats; Record anything you sell to track your farm’s income. Looking back at your sales can be helpful for future planning. It may also be required for taxes.If you enter the show ring regularly, don’t forget to write down the details, like which goats were shown, who the judges were, placings. You’ll be glad you did!My first year milking goats was so exciting, I weighed practically each milking! I can’t say I’m still that dedicated, but if you want to keep track of milk weights, this sheet will serve you well. C# is for Control number assigned to a goat when you are on DHIA milk test. (Please don’t get the impression that milk test is weighing every single day; it is not!)
That’s it! When printing, it will show 12 pages because the Milk Weighing is designed for around 240 days of milking, so there are multiples of that one.
You can just print as many sheets as you need and skip the rest by selecting a range of pages(1 through 6). You may need to scale some sheets to fit the page before printing. Please look at your previews to see what adjustments are needed.
