Breeding Plans

Breeding Plans & 2026 kidding results

*Please note: we do not do ultrasounds or pregnancy blood testing, so we can’t confirm that breedings took. All “breedings” are based on observation of heat cycles and buck placement. Plans are only tentative.

We offer 10% off your goat purchase if you join the WaitList or make a Reservation prior to kidding.

Kid prices listed in our Sales Policy.

*In 2026, we are trying a hybrid kid raising method which combines bottle training with dam-raising. We hope to move along most baby goats to their new homes as soon as possible to lighten our load and begin milking the does, but will allow necessary time to make sure they are off to a great start before leaving. We aim for about 4 weeks of age for baby goats to leave for their new homes, but will work with buyers on preferred pickup dates.

First Freshening Does

Planned pedigree

Jewel is a wild thing, due to being dam raised. But she comes from some outstanding lines and I’m excited to see her freshen. Her sire’s dam appraised EEEV 91 as an 8 year old this year. Her sire is son of an Old Mountain Farm buck by ai breeding. Her dam was very correct and long bodied, with nice depth. Comet’s dam is an eye catcher, and it’s not just her color. She’s a fifth generation star milker (5*M) GCH doe with a beautiful udder. Take a look at Comet’s ancestry info and photos at Coyote Kidz Dairy.

Planned pedigree

Dusty is a noisy one, but good natured like her dam. Her sire’s dam appraised EEEV 91 as an 8 year old this year. Her sire is son of an Old Mountain farm buck by ai breeding. Dusty is out of our favorite foundation doe(Flapper), who had a wonderful handmilking udder and is pending her 4*M. Comet’s dam is an eye catcher, and it’s not just her color. She’s a fifth generation star milker (5*M) GCH doe with a beautiful udder. Take a look at Comet’s ancestry info and photos at Coyote Kidz Dairy.
