SOLD! Thank you

Misty freshened for the first time as a 2 year old in the spring of 2025 with triplets.

Her udder is soft by she does have shorter teats. She is the easiest first freshener I’ve ever trained to the stand, being very patient and cooperative about everything from the start. 😊

She started out a bit on the thin side, and lost some conditioning after birthing triplets, so we bottle fed her two buck kids and let her raise the doe for about 3 months. Her doe kid is now weaned, but we have continued milking Misty over the summer and she is currently in milk on once a day milking.

She is priced to sell as a pet because she is a smaller doe and doesn’t have the milking power or udder that’s really desirable in a dairy goat. She is a sweetheart and will make someone a great pet!

Her first milk test results below. Not bad at all!

First freshening udder, 12 hour fill(1.4 lbs) 43 DIM, dam-raising one doe kid while also being milked to bottle feed her two buck kids.

Hard to get a photo of her rear udder because she wants to hunch and pinch her legs and hips shut on the stand. Needed to get some outdoor on the lawn photos while she’s standing natural.
