“Punk” we call him after his dam Pumpkin, is a young buck we added in 2022 as a kid from Krebs Farm. His sire, Grand, was on the Elite list 2021-2022, is a star buck *B (and pending +B) who’s dam and sire both are also elites and star milkers.
His dam, Pumpkin, is wide in the rump and has phenomenal udder attachments and great general appearance; Krebs Farm announced that she earned her milk star on one-day-milk test this year(2024) which will make this guy a *B (pending)! Additionally, his maternal half sister made the elite list this year(2024) as Kreb’s first home bred elite doe, Krebs PD Patty Pan 3*M AR Pending, Elite 2024.
His sire’s SGCH Sugar Moon dam shows promise for passing on some wonderful hand-milkable teats while still maintaining solid mammary attachments and excellent conformation as well. His littermate sister’s udder is pictured below and we like the looks of her! Withhis sire’s top-of-the-line milking genetics, we’re very excited about the possibility of bringing more milk into our herd as well.
