Kidding begins soon!

Nellie flapper

We’re getting ready to welcome baby goats, as early as March 19th. One doe is due April 4th, and two first fresheners in May!

If you’re wanting a goat this year, joining the waitlist gives you a 10% discount on your potential goat purchase.

We also have free reservations available, and there’s no obligation to buy; you’ll have first chance to refuse your reserved goat before they’re offered to others, assuming you respond in a timely manner.

No DHIR this year

We did not renew for DHIR with ADGA this year, but we may still be milk testing with WA-DHIA as owner samplers to record our goats’ production and components.

Our does will not qualify for milk star awards, but we’re choosing to conserve our resources($) until ADGA continues awarding stars. We haven’t been awarded stars that our goats earned in 2022 yet, but it seems ADGA is getting closer. Progress is slow.

We will still be taking milk weights and recording how our goats do with their production because this information is so helpful for management and genetic selection.

You will still be able to view our milk testing results on the CDCB website each time we test.

Local Shows!

It’s just possible we’ll be out and about at the local MT shows. Tentatively planning for it, but of course we’ll have to wait and see how life goes. Hope to see you there!

Buck for sale! (Sold)

2023

After two years of servicing our lovely does, it’s time for our 2022 Krebs buck to move along to another herd. Two of his daughters will freshen in our herd this May! Sunny Stormy

His kids grow well and have great general appearance, and if it matters to you, they are also quite colorful! My daughter’s favorite was the multicolored doe pictured below. ❤️

Misty

Visit his page to learn more about him, ancestry photos, etc.

Price is negotiable, because would like to move him along soon to make room for our new buckling expected to arrive soon(will be announced later!).

*please note, he was dam raised at Krebs farm and does not like petting or handling, but isn’t necessarily wild. He was very patient for over an hour on the stanchion for his hair clipping last summer. But he is not a pet. *He is up to date on worming & hoof care as of 3/21/24.

He is registered with both ADGA and AGS.

Doe for sale

Aspen Leaf Cloudy Night

Cloudy is due April 4th(we think)and she will be offered for sale with her babies as a family package after she delivers! She is bred to Krebs LG Buckskin.

We would love to see her go to a nice pet home, so price is not the main concern. Please reach out with any questions or offers. Personality-wise, Cloudy is our favorite goat in the herd. She’s so gentle, easy for hoof trims, & loves people.

Herd Starter deal!

If you’re interested in a starter herd, we would offer our Krebs buck and Cloudy with kids at a very reasonable price. *notice for beginners: you will need to have a separate & secure buck pen, and the doe and kids in another pen until breeding season. They should not be penned together except briefly when breeding is desired. Also, Cloudy’s kids should not be bred to this buck because he is their father. Inbreeding can cause health issues, abnormalities & loss of vigor.

Another starter option: Assuming we may get bucklings from other does in our herd, we may have an unrelated buckling that would be able to service both Cloudy and her kids if you need a young herdsire. His sire would be Round Mountain MQ Kedar Quinn, ai sired son of Old Mountain Farm Meader Quinn!

Please reach out with any questions, we’re happy to chat and match you with the right goat(s) for you and your goals!

Keep watching your inbox for upcoming announcements on births and available baby goats and baby goat pictures! 🐐

Thanks for your interest.

  1. Thanks, LeAnn!
This was my most anticipated kidding. Good luck with your kidding season as well! April should bring warmer weather again after this recent cold snap. I have a doe due in April.
