This month we did a much needed herd reduction and sold ALL the adult goats, including the bucks, keeping only 4 promising young dry does that we’ve bred from our best.
We try to keep a small, manageable herd to avoid overwhelm, and this year we just needed to let go of some goats to reduce the workload.
So for now, we are left with just two 2025 doe kids (HONEY & GINGER), and two 2024 yearling does (DUSTY & JEWEL); herd count 4.
We may have shed a tear or two while sending off our foundation goats to new homes. 😢 It was bittersweet, but we’re thankful for their time here and for their influence on our herd.

Our young buck TUA FARMS RMI CRESCENDO went to an ideal performance and show home where he’ll be able to pass on his wonderful genetics to many more goats. He may even have the opportunity to get appraised! I couldn’t be happier for his future in the Coyote Kidz herd.
We’re taking a needed break from the goats. We’ll likely wait until fall 2026 to breed goats again, so there possibly won’t be a kidding season next spring (2025), to be determined. ***12/12/25 UPDATE! We will be leasing a buck in December 2025 to breed Jewel & Dusty for May kids if they take.

I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people as I’ve sold goats over the last 5 years, and it’s truly a pleasure each time I get to chat about goats or help a newbie get started on their goat raising journey. I remember how exciting that was for me just starting out, so it’s a joy to share the excitement with those who reach out with their goat raising questions. 😊
If you purchased goats from me or just followed along with our farm, THANK YOU and I hope you’ll stick around to see what goat raising craziness we’ll be up to in years to come as we maneuver what life brings our way.😀
I do still have a wait list and anyone is welcome to join it. Some year you may get a random call from me that a goat you had your eye on is available. It’s actually very likely, because I have to keep my herd number small and if I know someone’s interested in a goat, I can let them go if needed. Many promising goats have left and will continue to leave because I don’t want a big herd, just a few very nice goats.
A few of our buyers have taken the time to leave a review for our farm either on google or on our website review page. Thank you! Your kind words mean so much. 🥲
Thanks again for following along!
Rebekah
