Triplets & New herd sire

Cloudy delivered triplets today! This is her second freshening and we bred her to the same buck as last year (Krebs LG Buckskin) that produced triplets as well, all does.

This year, she gave us all bucklings, which works for me, because they should make some amazing pet wethers since Cloudy is just the sweetest personality.

S10 buckling, just minutes old!

Once Cloudy gets her little guys up and suckling and has had her new mama pampering and special treatment, we’ll try to get some photos of these fuzzy little guys, if they’ll hold still.

Typical of our Krebs buck, he produced some colorful kids in this litter!

We are looking for a good home for Cloudy and her kids, because we’ve decided to keep only the goats that we love milking. Cloudy is very patient on the milkstand, but she has wide teat placement that makes milking a challenge. She also has a looser shoulder assembly than we like to see, and would do better as a pet doe without the added weight of carrying babies.

If you’re interested in offering Cloudy a home, please reach out to me. Rebekah

Next year will be a highly anticipated kidding season and hopefully we’ll get some polled kids. It’s never too early to ask for a reservation or to join the waitlist for notifications.

If you aren’t already signed up to receive these news posts, you can do that below.

Thanks for your interest in our goats.

As always, please reach out with any questions at any time. I look forward to hearing from you!

Best,

Rebekah
